COVID-19: Short Term Working Payments Extended in Turkey

As per the Presidential Decree No.2915 published in the Official Gazette No. 31230 dated August 31, 2020, short time working payment period is extended for two additional months to the short time working period determined under the Presidential Decree No.2706 June 29, 2020 and extended for one month with the Presidential Decree No.2810 dated July 30, 2020.

QR Code Payment Services Standardized in Turkey

The Regulation on the Generation and Use of TR QR Code in Payment Services (“Regulation”) of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (“CBRT”) have entered into force following it is promulgated on the Official Gazette numbered 31220 dated August 21, 2020.
