Submission Deadline for Ongoing Temporary Biocide License Applications Extended in Turkey

Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (“TITCK”) has announced on July 15, 2020 that submission deadline for ongoing temporary biocide license applications are extended to prevent any hardship in sector. Accordingly, any outstanding documentation with regards to ongoing temporary biocide license processes shall be submitted until September 1, 2020 at the latest and in case the outstanding documentation is not submitted until September 1, 2020 and the biocide is desired to remain on the market, an application for permanent license shall be submitted pursuant to the Articles 12 and 14 of the Regulation on Biocides.

Previously, TITCK had extended temporary license application deadline for biocides until May 31, 2020 and submission deadline for ongoing license applications until July 15, 2020.
