The growing vulnerability of road users before the connectivity and automation of vehicles have necessitated safety regulations to be updated and adapted to the up to date technologies in European Union (“EU”) level.

On  May 20, 2020, International Air Transport Association (“IATA”) released the Airline Financial Monitor Report (“Report”)  including its observations for March and April, 2020 stating that “Global airline share prices moved higher in April, reflecting government support to the industry and airline announcements about restarting part of their operations”.

As per the Biosafety Law No. 5977 (“Law No. 5977”), applications regarding research, development, processing, placing, monitoring, use, import, export, transport, storage, packaging, labeling and similar activities in relation to genetically modified organisms developed with modern biotechnological methods and their products shall be evaluated by the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (“the Ministry”) based on a report prepared by Scientific Risk and Socioeconomic Evaluation Committees (“the Committees”).

As per Provisional Article 1 of the Law Amending Certain Acts numbered 7226 (“Law No. 7226”) published in the repeating Official Gazette No. 31080 dated March 26, 2020, compulsory administrative application periods, including final term limits, regarding the origination, use or termination of a right have been suspended from 13 March 2020.
